Some connections can never be broken, like the one between man and nature, a mother and her child, and the two cast-stone circles uniting this egg shell sculpture as one entity. One cannot exist without the other, and unions are what keep both alive. This hand-sculpted show-piece displays the finiteness of that which is bound and cannot be broken – representing the “us”, not the “me”.
